"If I'm Not Home" examines Cooper's unique contributions to the Chicago jazz scene, his struggles with homelessness and alcoholism, and the musical passion that sustained him. Many Chicago jazz musicians contribute their perspectives to Ron Cooper's singular life in jazz.
